Debian is absolutely bullet proof, docker encapsulates the 'risky' applications into safe sandboxes, mergerfs just works and snapraid too. Those who know me, know this is ridiculous for my home server. This is a system I can leave running for months at a time without needing to look at it. The system is put together on top of Debian 9 (Stretch), docker, snapraid and mergerfs. Ok, that might be a bit rich but honestly nothing major has needed to change since the original article. I touted the solution I last wrote about as 'flawless'. It is not only free as in beer, but none of the software used requires you to pay a single penny to get up and running - it is completely free. As do the original requirements in the 2016 article. The core tenet of using only Free Open Source Software wherever possible still remains in place from before. I'm thinking about setting TMDB as default and then manually swapping back to plex agent and doing a library metadata refresh once a week instead of having to manually match every thing I add. funny enough, I had set TMDB as the default for testing, and every item it matches (but of course downloads nothing), when I switch back to the Plex Agent and "refresh metadata" everything does what it should.

The legacy agent doesn't work, even with a manual search, and the TMDB agent finds the metadata, but never downloads anything to the file. It successfully matches and adds metadata for 1 out of every 60 or so items added (I've deleted plugin folder and the cache folder multiple times both before and after updating to the version I am now on) and to make it worse, in the last week, manual searching doesn't even find results unless I copy the IMDB code and put it in the search.

My Plex Movie Agent just plain doesn't work. Super yuk, and I thought my issue with the agent was bad.
